# 4.1 Audit

**The audit** was carried out in partnership with recognized institutions capable of validating the issuance and fulfillment of contracts, ensuring transparency and greater security in operations carried out with the <mark style="color:orange;">$ABYSS</mark> token.

The first audit to validate the **Down Below** project and the $ABYSS token was performed by [TECH AUDIT](https://www.tech-audit.org/), an organization specializing in *Smart Contract Security Audit*.

The complete report with details of the audit can be checked on *GitHub*\[1], which contains the methodologies applied to validate issues such as security, architecture and code assertiveness, as well as analysis of requirements at different levels of criticity.

A second validation is being performed by [CERTIK](https://www.certik.com/), recognized for certifying development projects focused on DeFi (decentralized finance) based on rigorous verification criteria, and the report will be made available soon.
